Well-Bean is able to create a series of classes that can be individualized based on classroom needs. The focus is to bring mindfulness and yoga into the classroom so that students can incorporate these practices into their everyday lives and be better equipped for dealing with life's stressors. In general students will:
- have an opportunity to get acquainted with their brain and stress-response system;
- learn about their breath and practice breathing exercises and mindful movement for self-regulation;
- become familiar with what it means to “pay attention” and “calm down" (phrases children often hear but are never taught how);
- use their five senses to help build concentration and the skill of curiosity.
