Melissa WolfWell-Bean Yoga & Mindfulness TeacherMelissa is the mother of two sweet yoginis and has been practicing yoga for most of her adult life. She knew she wanted her children to experience its benefits from an early age and eagerly brought them to Well Bean’s very first yoga and mindfulness classes for children. Hearing her young daughter talk about the need “to be more present” when her mind was racing or trying to physically slow down in an effort to calm her emotional state reinforced her belief that children needed yoga and mindfulness in their lives as much as she did. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Michigan and has taught in middle and high schools. She completed the Well-Bean Children's Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher Training, is trauma informed and trained in mindfulness fundamentals and the mindful schools curriculum. She brings that training into her classes along with her love of playing yoga with kids. She loves taking the time to be fully present with them as they move in fun and creative ways but also slowing down with them and discovering new ways to be at ease in the present moment.
